PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Training. Feedback. Progress.

California Grizzlies is aligned with the USA Rugby Pathways program. We work closely with its development and identification processes to help players improve, gain exposure and pursue higher honors.

Our six-pillar model develops the whole player. Within it, the USA Rugby Pathways STARS framework focuses assessment and feedback on Superpower, Tactical, Athleticism, Resilience and Skills. Through training, competition and feedback, players build the skills, habits and confidence to progress.

That next step may be a strong collegiate program, national selection or preparing for professional rugby. Our role is to help each player prepare for the opportunities ahead.
